Opening Ceremony
A special Earth Day proclamation by Mayor Hamlin; followed by the unveiling of the winner of the youth-designed Earth Day flag for 2024. Jillian Morris, poet laureate, will read an Earth Day poem to kick-off the activities.
Live Music
The Collingwood School of Music will be performing live music throughout the event. Including student performances, class performances from elementary schools and a community-wide drum circle.
Environmental Groups & Town Council
Engage with our local environmental groups to learn about their work in our region. Opportunities to chat with Members of Council and staff about green initiatives.
Kids Zone & Activities
Venture into our Kids Zone to play games and activities learning about what you can do about climate pollution. Take part in our EarthFest BINGO to be entered to win one of the amazing prizes available.
Toy Swap & Shop
Organized by Joyful Homes, join us at the Toy Swap & Shop where fun meets sustainability! Come donate and/or shop the free toys. Fostering a community that embraces the circular economy.
