Joslyn Biggins
Director
Joslyn Biggins has worked in the non-profit sector for over 20 years and has served as Board Chair for Breaking Down Barriers and the Bar Harbor SPCA. She is currently a French teacher with a strong interest in environmental protection and has enjoyed skiing and hiking in Collingwood for the past 20 years.

Catherine Daw
Chair of the Board
Catherine is a leader and change agent with a passion to ensure a livable planet now and for future generations. Her beliefs are rooted in the need to build an inclusive community that works together for change to have an immediate and long lasting impact.

Bianca Creek
Secretary
Climate change and its related challenges are deeply personal for Bianca. She wants her children and grandchildren to inherit a future on a healthy planet. While she recognizes the critical role governments and industries play in shaping that future, she also believes strongly in the power of individuals. Each of us can, and does, make a difference. That is the legacy Bianca hopes to leave.

Jamey Hubbs
Advocacy
Jamey spent much of the later part of his career involved in setting guidelines to support the transition of the global financial system to a net-zero economy. In doing this work he became increasingly aware the important role that action at the local level can play in
leading the way to a net-zero economy. for the benefit of everyone. Jamey joined the CCAT board to continue his work in helping create a more resilient and sustainable future for the benefit of everyone.

Rebecca Danard
Director
Rebecca has expertise in green development standards, home energy retrofit programs, and green economy hubs. She is passionate about using creative collaboration to implement practical solutions to drive transformative change.

Richard Lemoine
Treasurer
Richard brings decades of leadership experience across community, arts, and sport organizations, with a strong focus on governance and financial stewardship; and when he’s not at the board table, you’ll likely find him sailing or cross-country skiing. He has held numerous leadership roles, including Chair and Treasurer positions at the local, provincial, and national levels, alongside a successful career in accounting and business leadership.

When Bryan looks into the eyes of his young grandchildren and the future ahead, his work on climate change is clear.

Director of Community Engagement
Laura Vermander
As a mom of two young children, Laura wants the best future possible for them. This motivates her work with the climate action team. Laura has previously done marketing work in the not-for-profit industry; as well as running her own business. She hopes to inspire the community to see they too can take climate action and make a difference.
